RICO Group to join Semperit

The acquisition agreement for the sale of RICO Group to Semperit was signed on 17 April 2023 by the whole Semperit Board and Owners of the RICO Group. Semperit welcomes warmly RICO’s highly qualified employees to the Group.

Semperit, an elastomer specialist, continues to focus on the expansion course already embarked upon by RICO Group – addressing business trends in health care & life science, household & sanitary, electrification and mobility. This partnership will yield attractive growth opportunities and new prospects for both companies. For more information go to the news sector.

RICO GROUP includes RICO Elastomere Projecting GmbH, Silcoplast AG, SIMTEC Silicone Parts LLC and HTR Rosenblattl GmbH.

    RICO Elastomere Projecting GmbH obtains ISO 9001 certification.

    RICO Elastomere Projecting GmbH extends the facility in Thalheim bei Wels for the first time.

    SIMTEC Silicone Parts LLC declared winner of the “Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Thermoset Durability Award” for Innovation in Thermoset Processing.

  13. 2007

    Plasticspritzerei AG and Silwo Silikon-Spritzerei AG extend the facility in Wolfhalden for the third time.

  14. 2008

    SIMTEC Silicone Parts LLC was awarded contracts for the production of LSR 2-Shot (LSR/PA) parts for a customer in America and LSR 2-Shot (LSR/PBT) parts for another customer in Europe.
    The injection molding units employed for these new contracts were the first production units of their kind in the World.
